Took a trip to Greenlough tonight to watch our reserves play a mixture of Greenlough reserves and seniors - and while our lads were narrowly beat at the very end of extra time ( they bought on more seniors just before and during e.t.) our understrenth reserves put up a great display of heart, detremination and some great play - all round very encouraging and good to see the young and old combining very well.

I would just like to commend St.Malachy's and congratulate everyone that was involved in the very successful Tour Of Doire Cycle last weekend.Events such as this add a whole new dimension to Club daily activity, however it is very much in keeping with the true aims and ethos of our great Association.
Once again well done to all

Too the comments about the style of play and low point scoring, times change football changes. Go watch your soccer match's cause negative supporters at senior games isnt on, as the below comments says its only may! get a life and worry about what your doing and us boys will stick to something that wins games which has been proved magherafelt are doing it too and look were there at. its a new system give it time..unbeaten in 8 until last friday, it was a off day..

I agree with the Lifelong supporter. I haven't been to watch a game this season but times change and game plans change, it is a long time since we have had a game plan and a manager willing to work on our strengths. Heads up, there is plenty left in the season. I would suggest that such negative comments are restricted to prevent any stirring that is not needed

Tell you what lads, away you go and watch Moyola then...Trying to start problems already and we are only in May.. Don’t need it... Typical experts around this place, not happy unless they are crying about something, suppose it gives you something to talk about.. Get a life...

Just wanted to add a note of congratulations to all those who took part in the Tour of Doire cycle event at the weekend. All cyclists completed the 65 mile journey to Derry on the Saturday, followed by the 40 mile 'hilly' return leg on the Sunday. It was great to be joined by other club members and youth cyclists at Kelly's for the final leg through the town and back to the club. The weekend will live long in the memory and the sense of pride and achievement as we made our way home from Magherafelt was palpable.
Many thanks to all those who helped out in any way over the weekend and a special word of thanks to the organising committee who made the event such a success. Well done everyone !!
whats going on?

If we had played Dagenham and Redbridge or Notts County this weekend we would have got a 4-4 draw, pity we had to play Foreglen as they rattled up a mighty six points. Conceded 30points in four games and still dropped three points. Nobody caught on that we need to put the ball over the bar to win games?????/

Down to four points this week, we need to be careful as Moyola are scoring as much as we are these days. Shocking negative football, can't win games without trying to score.
