The Club’s defibrillator is at the well of the internal staircase near the door to the Home team changing room. We’re offering defibrillator training on Wednesday 15th October at 7.30. All members and coaches are encouraged to avail of training for this potentially life-saving service, interested parties should contact Cathryn McOscar.

The Seamus Heaney Commemorative Stamp issued by the Irish Republic's mail service An Post features a black and white portrait of the Nobel laureate. A specially commissioned envelope is also on sale inscribed with an extract of Heaney's 1969 poem Bogland. Both the stamps and envelopes can be viewed and purchased at all main post offices, at the GPO Stamp Shop in Dublin's O'Connell Street and online at irishstamps.ie.

Congratulations to St Malachy's Under 14 footballers who are Champions having achieved a fine victory in the Final at Owenbeg where they defeated Slaughtmanus by 3-12 to 1-6. The boys have signed of on a successful season with Feile, League and Championship trophies in the cabinet. Well done to the lads and their management.

The weekend was a very busy and highly successful one for our younger members and their coaches. The annual St Malachy’s U10 football Blitz took place at a sun kissed Broagh on Saturday. We welcomed youngsters from Glenullin, Desertmartin, Newbridge, Cargin, Ballinderry, Moneyglass and Coleraine. As ever the standard of play and sportsmanship were of the top order.
