Obituary
The committee and members of St Malachy’s GAC would like to take this opportunity to pass on their sincere condolences for Seamus Convery, former player who played in our winning 1958 Championship team.
Lotto
Numbers drawn in the weekly Lotto on Monday 18th January 2010 were 13, 20, 21, & 23. As there was no winner, the Lucky Dips went to Kevin Boorman & Charlie Quinn. The jackpot for next week will be £1300. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
Camogie Club Update
The camogie club held their AGM on Wednesday past and had a very successful turnout at the meeting. All positions were filled and some new faces have got involved which is brilliant to see. Chairperson is now Kathy Bradley, vice chairperson Carmel Diamond, secretary Catherine Pickering, assistant secretary Eimhear McCartney, treasurer Sinead Heaney, assistant treasurer Roisin O Kane, PRO Kathy Bradley and registrar Catherine Pickering.
Want To Help Save A Life
As you may have seen in the press recently, GAA Clubs throughout Ireland are holding Blood Donating sessions. Our club, in conjunction with neighbouring clubs, will hold two sessions on 22nd January, 2.30-4.15 and 5.30-8.00 in Newbridge Clubhouse. To do this, we need numbers, so if anyone would like to save someone’s life by donating blood, please contact Clare Heaney on 07740 552445.
Anniversary Mass
The Anniversary mass for Adrian Heaney will take place on Monday 25th January in Bellaghy at 7.30pm.
Pavilion
A reminder to all club members and friends of St. Malachys that the pavilion will always be made available for functions and meetings at no charge; we would ask however to ensure good housekeeping that anyone who requires the loan of chairs or kitchen utensils etc. that they contact Tommy Joe or Eilish on 028 79468020 or in their absence club chairman Sean Cushley. We thank you for your assistance.
Clothing Bank
There will now be a clothing bank located inside the club car park. All textiles, such as sheets, curtains, clothes, shoes, belts and bags may be put in, but must be clean and dry. The car park can be accessed at all times. This is now a permanent feature and can be used by anyone.
Dancing Classes and Music Group
The Irish Dancing Class and Music Groups will recommence early January.
